49ers Asked Patriots About Trading For Tom Brady: Report

The 49ers apparently thought they could convince the Patriots to trade the greatest quarterback to ever play football.

After being told by Bill Belichick that Garoppolo was off limits, 49ers General Manager John Lynch asked, "ok if Garoppolo is off-limits would you trade us Brady?"

In case you need the answer to that question, Belichick replied, "hold on, did you really just ask me if I would trade Tom Brady?" Glazer reporter. Lynch continued to push for the trade and Belichick kept replying "did you really just ask that?"
