Aaron Hernandez Hires Casey Anthony's Lawyer
The former New England Patriots tight end is ditching his defense team.

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is calling an audible for the defense team in his upcoming double murder trial.
The former pro football player has dumped his original legal team and has hired Jose Baez as his new defense attorney. Baez is best known for representing Casey Anthony.
In 2008, Anthony was accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter. She was found not guilty in 2011.

"I have fully committed myself to ensuring a fair and just trial for Mr. Hernandez," Baez said in a statement to ESPN's Michele Stelle.

Joining Baez will be Harvard law professor Ronald Sullivan Jr., defense attorney Alex Spiro, and forensic science counsel Linda Kenney Balden.
Hernandez was previously represented by attorneys Michael Fee and James Sultan.
Hernandez is currently serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. He is also awaiting trial for a double homicide in Boston.
