The Ahern School track is set to get a facelift after the school committee approved a bid to renovate the damaged track last week.
The work will be done by East Coast Sealcoating, Inc. from Abington for $47,300.
According to business administrator Bill Yukna, the work is being done for the safety of the students utilizing it for the FHS track and field program in the spring.
A meeting to confirm the renovation schedule is set for Aug. 22.
