Altercation Outside Toby Keith's At Patriot Place Leads To Weapons Charges
Steven McGee, 26, was arrested Sept. 24 outside of Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Hyde Park man faces charges after allegedly threatening a group at Patriot Place with a pellet gun that looked liked a real one from a distance, police said.
Steven McGee, 26, was arrested Sept. 24 outside of Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of ammunition without a FID card. He was arraigned in Wrentham District Court the next day and released on personal recognizance.
At about 1:09 a.m., police responded to a report of an altercation with a firearm near the restaurant and the Hilton Garden Inn. According to a police report, Officer Kelly Colvin was directed to McGee, who a group said had a gun. A witness told police that his friends got into an argument with another group outside of Toby Keith's when a woman in the other group made a call and McGee showed up shortly afterward. McGee allegedly got out of his vehicle, said "Do you want to **** with me?" and showed a gun.

McGee told police that he had a pellet gun, which officers located inside the Hyde Park man's car. In his report, Colvin wrote that the weapon appeared to be a Sig Sauer Model P320 and confirmed that while on closer examination it was a pellet gun, it did look like a real weapon from a distance.
Police allegedly found live ammunition inside McGee's vehicle, which he said was for when he goes to a shooting range in North Attleboro. He admitted to police that he did not have a license to carry because he was denied when he applied for it.
