• Gutierres converts late penalty to give Boston win over Orlando (orlandosentinel.com) — Fans in Foxborough saw a dramatic finish Tuesday night as Amanda Gutierres buried a stoppage-time penalty to give the Boston Legacy a 2-1 comeback win over the Orlando Pride. The match at the local stadium featured Marta’s early penalty, Aleigh Gambone’s first NWSL goal, and league scoring leader Barbra Banda coming off the bench.    

• Officials: Newly opened Mass Pike ramp will decrease traffic congestion (boston.com) — A new Mass Pike ramp to I-495 has opened and is expected to ease congestion for drivers heading toward major routes that serve Foxborough. State officials say the redesigned interchange should improve safety and traffic flow, especially ahead of this summer’s seven World Cup matches scheduled in Foxborough, which are likely to bring heavy regional traffic.
