FOXBOROUGH, MA — New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown lost his endorsement deal with Nike, the Boston Globe reported. A spokesperson for Nike declined to give a reason, only saying, "Antonio Brown is not a Nike athlete."

The timing suggests Brown lost his shoe deal following allegations he sexually assaulted his former trainer on three separate occasions between June 2017 and May 2018. Brown denied the accusations in a statement released by his attorney, Darren Heitner. A second woman also accused Antonio Brown of sexual misconduct while she painted a mural at his Pennsylvania home. Brown denied that allegation as well.

Last February, Nike introduced the "Nike Tech Trainer Antonio Brown" shoe, listed at $100. The shoe was white, black, metallic gold and featured a floral pattern with tiny 84s, the number Brown wore with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders.
