Average Foxborough Teacher Salary Among Highest In State

FOXBOROUGH, MA - The average salary of a school teacher in Foxborough during the 2015-16 school year is among the 50 highest in the state, according to data from the state.

Earlier this year, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released a full list of average annual salaries of public educators in each community. According to the study, the 211 public school teachers in Foxborough on average made $82,651 during the last school year, the 48th highest average in the state and about $6,200 more than the statewide average of $76,442.

The Carlisle School District has the highest average wage at $100,803.

323 school districts reported data to the state. Benefits such as summers off and pensions, negotiated between individual school districts and unions, were not included in the data.

Average wages were determined by dividing each district's total salaries and stipends by the number of full-time teachers employed during the school year.
