Bernie Sanders Endorses Paul Feeney For State Senate

The Vermont Senator and former candidate is the latest to give an endorsement in the race to fill the seat vacated by Jim Timilty.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A candidate for state Senate just got a big endorsement from his former boss.

Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont announced this week that he is endorsing Democrat Paul Feeney in the state Senate race to fill the seat vacated by Jim Timilty. Last year, Feeney worked for the Sanders Presidential Campaign as their Massachusetts state director.

"I hope very much you win because what we need at the local level, the state level, and the federal level are candidates and elected officials who have the guts to stand up for working family and take on big money interests who have far too much power over the lives of ordinary Americans," Sanders said in his endorsement video.
