Bill Belichick Now Grandad Belichick

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A new roster addition was announced by Bill Belichick Tuesday morning, and as he said, "the emphasis would be on little."

The Patriots head coach announced during his media conference call that his granddaughter Blakley Rose Belichick, daughter of Steve Belichick and his girlfriend Jen, was born Tuesday morning.

"This is a happy and exciting day for all of us," Belichick said.

Belichick said that the newest member of the family came in at 20 inches and seven pounds.

In addition to being a new father, Steve Belichick also works as the Patriots' safeties coach.
