Bill Belichick Throws Vikings Player An F-Bomb

The Patriots coach was caught in all his grumpy glory on Fox appearing to tell Adam Thielen to, er, be quiet.

FOXBORO, MA — Bill Belichick is a man of few words. But boy, did he make those words count Sunday.

Belichick got into a brief shouting match with Minnesota's Adam Thielen following a controversial spot in the fourth quarter. The Patriots challenged the spot of the ball after an injury to Patrick Chung gave them some time to consider.

Thielen appeared to yell in the direction of Belichick and a referee. Belichick, in all of his grumpy glory on the Fox broadcast, told Thielen to, er, be quiet.

Of course, social media erupted. After the game, Thielen said he thought Chung was pulling a "cheap" play and admitted to letting his emotions get the best of him.

The Patriots lost the challenge, but Belichick clearly won the war.
