Foxborough is Patriot Nation

This Memorial Day marks my one year anniversary of living in Foxborough - a town that I have grown to love and respect. 

Before moving to Foxborough, my perceptions of the town were completely opposite of what they are today. I was shocked to learn that Foxborough is home to less than 18,000 residents. Driving past Gillette Stadium, I was always under the impression that Foxborough was a large, "city like" town.

After I moved to Foxborough I began spending more time in town, exploring the town common area, hiking F. Gilbert State Park and enjoying meals at the Common Cafe. All of sudden I found myself immersed into a small town culture. The associations in my head of Foxborough and the New England Patriots quickly faded. I found myself defending Foxborough whenever a friend would said, "You live in Foxborough? Where the Patriots play right?" - I would respond by saying "Foxborough is much more than Patriot Nation - Patriot football that is" 

Foxborough is Patriot Nation - a town made up of hard working, patriotic citizens who care deeply about where they live and the residents who live there. 

This Memorial Day I am proud to be not only a citizen of the United States, but a resident of Foxborough.
