I am fairly new to town, within the last year. Last week, I was taking my 8-month old son for a walk up to the center and back. I have to say that I am surprisingly pleased with the people in this town! We had to have passed close to 20 people on our adventure, and every person smiled and said hello. One neighbor who was cutting his lawn stopped the lawn mower when he saw us approaching so that we wouldn't be walking through a cloud of dust or pollen. A couple of people even came up to see the baby. I mean I guess everyone loves a baby, but it was very warming to see.
With people like this in town, I am glad we made the move here. Our former town was small and neighbors seemed to cross the street to avoid any interaction. I do have to say that I was for the casino, but after seeing the kind and friendly people we have in town, my feeling has changed. This is the perfect place for us to raise our children and we couldn't be happier here!
