Tom Brady Could Play Until When?!

Could Tom Brady play into his late 40s?

FOXBOROUGH MA — Could Tom Brady really play football into his mid to late 40s? That's the goal, according to Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Kraft told reporters at the annual NFL meeting that Brady said he would be willing to play until he is 47 years old.

"As recently as 2-3 days ago, he assured me he'd be willing to play 6-7 more years and at the level he performed. There's no one that would be happier than I, and our fan base," Kraft told reporters Monday.

Brady turns 40 in August and could become the oldest player at the position if all goes according to plan. At 44 years old, Steve DeBerg, Warren Moon and Vinny Testaverde are the most senior quarterbacks in league history, according to data tracked by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and obtained by ESPN. George Blanda played until he was 48, but was a kicker late in his career.

The upcoming season will be Brady's 18th with the Patriots.
