Burrell School Renovation Study Passes Town Meeting

Town meeting approved funding for a feasibility study.

FOXBOROUGH, MA - The Burrell School renovation project has cleared another hurdle.

Monday night, the Annual Town Meeting approved $700,000 for a feasibility study to be conducted with the Massachusetts School Building Authority.

An amendment from Dick Heydecker to lower the funding total to $300,000 failed.

School Business Administrator Bill Yukna told the Sun Chronicle that the high cost is part of the MSBA's process to make sure that the school is committed to the project.

He said he does not expect the study to use the full funding.
