Harvey Langi and his wife Cassidy Langi were stopped in the left hand turn lane during a red light at the intersection of Commercial and Fisher streets when a Jeep allegedly driven by Conroy crashed into the Langis' Mazda and pinned the vehicle between the Jeep and a Toyota in front of them.
Patrolman Stephen Easter wrote in his report that when he approved the Langis' Mazda, both were trapped inside and Cassidy Langi was bleeding so profusely from the neck that her husband had to hold napkins to try to stop the bleeding.

During the investigation, police determined that Conroy's travel speed was at least 35 mph and was likely closer to 50 mph. They also allegedly found an open Fireball nip inside the Jeep along with a bag containing 15 Baclofen 10mg pills, 15 Gabapentin 300mg bills, and four and a half Quetiapine Fumarate 100mg pills.
The crash caused serious injury to Langi and his wife Cassidy. Three other people were transported to area hospital with injuries.
Langi was signed by the Patriots in May as an undrafted free agent. The 25-year-old played his college ball at Brigham Young University. He has played in one game with New England.
Cassidy Langi remains in the hospital and was reunited with Harvey Langi three days after the crash. Harvey Langi is out but is expected to need several weeks to recover from his injuries.
Police have filled an immediate threat petition with the RMV to revoke Conroy's license.
