Clinton Announces Plans to Run for Governor's Council

Brian Clinton, candidate for Governor’s Council, District 2, launched his campaign last Friday night at Beckett’s Pub in Walpole.

Taking the podium and addressing a crowd of over 200 supporters, Clinton appealed to the crowd by explaining why he should be the next Governor’s Councilor from District 2.

“If you pledge to work with me during this campaign, I pledge to never stop working for you,” said Clinton, a democrat. “I am committed to serving you and the Commonwealth to the highest standard and ask for your vote on Thursday, Sept. 6.”

Prior to addressing the crowd, Clinton was introduced by Chris Shannon from Carpenter’s Local 67.
“Brian has been a true friend to working families throughout his career,” said Shannon. “He is the epitome of what a public servant should be.”

He is a resident of Hyde Park.

Clinton also launched his web site www.electbrianclinton.com on Friday.

Attorney Robert Jubville of Milton is also a candidate for the open position.
