Committee Approves Foxborough Schools 2017-18 Calendar
It's just past the halfway point of the current school year but the school committee is already looking towards the fall.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — Unlike past years, there were no major points of conversation for the 2017-18 school calendar.
The Foxborough School Committee approved the calendar for the upcoming school year last week. Assistant Superintendent Amy Berdos said the calendar mirrors this year's schedule, with the only notable change being the move of a staff development day from November to October.
Staff will return on Aug. 29 with students back on Sept. 5. If there are no snow days, the last day will be June 18, or June 24 if there are five snow days.

Committee member Bruce Gardner expressed some disappointment over the last day of school potentially falling on a Monday, but committee members said there was no way around it.
