FOXBOROUGH, MA — There's less than two month's left before Foxborough's biggest family event of the year. Foxborough Founders Day is scheduled for June 8, bringing with it a parade to kick off the morning, live music and exciting games during the day, and a firework spectacular to cap off the night.

The theme for 2019 is "What Foxborough means to me," and the committee that puts on the festivities year in and year out has setup a contest to get residents in the spirit early.

The event organizers placed several boxes throughout town, where people can share what exactly Foxborough means to them.

Look for these boxes throughout Foxborough.

There will be index cards at the boxes readily available for people to fill out. Cards will be displayed at the Founders Day tent for everyone to see and those who participate will have the opportunity to be selected as a Parade Marshall. The deadline to submit is May 10.

Residents can find the boxes at the Foxborough Library, Orpheum Theater (now the Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Center), town hall, public safety building, Cindy’s Diamond & Jewlery Gallery and the senior center.
