Copa America in Foxborough: Argentina Cruise Pass Venezuela

Argentina will now play the United States in the semi-final round.

Foxborough, MA — In short, Argentina won because they were the superior team.

That may seem a bit obvious given their 4-1 win over Venezuela in the quarterfinals of the Copa America, but the top-ranked team in the world outplayed their opponents wire to wire.

The win sends Argentina to the semi-final round where they’ll play the United States on Tuesday.
