Donald Trump Says Tom Brady Voted for Him and Bill Belichick Sent Him a Note of Support

New England's favorite quarterback and coach are sending Trump kind words, according to the candidate.

According to Donald Trump, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was one of the million residents to cast his ballot during Massachusetts' first-ever early voting period, and he used that chance to vote for the Republican Presidential candidate.

Trump shared the news during his final appearance of the 2016 presidential campaign, in Manchester, New Hampsphire, Monday night. The Boston Globe confirmed with the Brookline Town Clerk's office that Brady voted Monday by absentee ballot. Whether he voted for Trump or not will remain up in the air with Trump saying one thing and his wife Gisele Bündchen apparently denying that the two are supporting the Republican.

Additionally, according to the candidate, Patriots coach Bill Belichick wrote a note in support.

While the veracity of that letter is being called into question, Steve Burton of WBZ and Tom Curran of Comcast Sportsnet confirmed that the letter was written by Belichick.

Trump continued to push Brady and Belichick during his rally, bringing up the two while attacking Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Brady appeared to have endorsed Trump last September after a reporter spotted a "Make America Great Again" ballcap in his locker. When asked if he thought Trump could win, Brady said "I hope so. That would be great. There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn, I’m sure of that.” He later backtracked and said his words of support were not an endorsement.

Most recently, Brady was asked during a press conference how he would respond if his kids heard Trump's version of locker room talk. Brady provided no answer before walking away from the podium.

For those wondering, Belichick and Brady are scheduled to meet with the media at Gillette Stadium Wednesday morning.
