Tom Brady Pressed on Donald Trump's Locker Room Talk

How did the Patriots quarterback respond when asked if his kids heard Trump's "locker room talk"?

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Sometimes you get a question out of left field during media availability. That was the case for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady this week.

Brady took to the podium Wednesday in Foxborough for the first time since coming back from his Deflategate suspension. After the usual questions about the Patriots' upcoming game against the Bengals and his return to Gillette Stadium, there was one question that stood out.

"With kids of your own, how would you respond if your kids heard Donald Trump’s version of locker room talk?" the reporter asked.

Brady simply smiled, gave a "Thank you guys, have a good day," and left the media workroom.

The Trump connection has continued to pester Brady for well over a year. Last season, Brady seemingly endorsed Trump for president when he was asked if he thinks he could win, telling reporters “I hope so. That would be great. There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn, I’m sure of that."

Brady would later back away, clarifying that his kind words were not an endorsement, not that it stopped Trump from telling supporters that it was an endorsement.

For those more concerned about Brady's performance on the field rather than his friends outside of football, he'll play his first home post-suspension game Sunday at 1 p.m.
