Drought Advisory Declared in Foxborough
New restrictions will be in effect beginning immediately.
From the Town of Foxborough:
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has declared Foxborough to be in a drought advisory. As a result, our Water Management Act Permit requires that we enter the next phase of watering restrictions.
The following new Mandatory Water Restrictions will be in effect beginning immediately.- No non-essential outdoor water use is allowed.
- Watering with sprinklers will not be allowed.
- There is no irrigation of lawns allowed, except by means of a handheld hose outside of the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
