Easton Pool & Spa was a proud sponsor and supporter of the Hockomock Area YMCA’s “Safety in the Water” pool party event which was held this past weekend at both the North Attleboro and the Invensys Foxboro YMCA branches.
This event was free to the community and featured open swim time where families could meet lifeguards, get swimmer evaluations, and learn how to improve overall water safety skills. The event was educationally driven with informative material available to take home. The event had a strong focus on teaching families the importance of being safe in and around water which is a core value that is shared between Easton Pool and the YMCA.
Brittany Morin-Mezzadri, Aquatics Director at the Invensys Foxboro YMCA branch, said: “Swimming is one of the most important skills a child must learn: it is a skill that can save a child's life. We want every child who goes to the beach or on a boating trip to know how to keep themselves and their family safe. We want families with backyard pools to feel confident in their ability to keep their children safe and have fun. At the Hockomock Area YMCA, we are passionate about teaching our community to swim and we make it possible for every child to learn regardless of their family's ability to pay.”

Easton Pool & Spa is dedicated to the ongoing water safety efforts in the community and wholeheartedly believes that education is the key to keeping children safe. The company has expanded its reach in 2014 to sponsor both the Invensys Foxboro and North Attleboro YMCA branches.
