Electrician Secretly Recorded 7 Women At Foxborough Daycare: PD

Foxborough police said the suspect used pen cameras to illegally spy on female daycare workers in the bathroom.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — An electrician is facing multiple indictments in Dedham Superior Court after authorities said he secretly recorded seven woman at a local daycare last year. According to police, Darrin McNeil, 49, 0f Taunton, used pens with cameras installed in them to secretly spy on women in the bathroom at the Learning Experience, located at 121 Main St.

Police told the Sun Chronicle McNeil was arrested May 18, 2018 after a staff member discovered the camera and called 911. Officers said they seized three other pen cameras from McNeil besides the one discovered in the bathroom. None of the cameras seized had video of children at the daycare, police said.

McNeil pleaded not guilty to a 15-count indictmentct last year, but is scheduled to appear in Dedham Superior Court on May 29 to potentially change his plea, court records said.

McNeil is currently serving a three-to-five-year prison sentence, after he was convicted a secretly recording a teenage family member in his bathroom at home. Police said they discovered evidence of the child pornography charges while conducting a search warrant related to the charges stemming from the Foxborough daycare.
