The Greyhound Friends Education Outreach Program will be presenting from 9-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, at the Burrell Elementary School in Foxboro. Graceful greyhounds will be on hand. The program will be presented to about 60 third-grade students. The Greyhound Friends Educational Outreach Program features a team of trained presenters and dogs traveling to schools, libraries, and other community locations to teach children and families about greyhounds. The program’s core message stresses kindness to animals and the value of involvement in one’s community, while educating students about the unique history and characteristics of the greyhound breed. There’s no charge to bring the Outreach Program to a school or group.
