Junior Green Gardeners experience the joy of learning where food comes from and seeing their own garden grow from the ground up. Kids learn the 8 basic modules needed to prepare, plant, and care for a vegetable garden from seed to harvest. Focusing on a different topic each week, participants will nurture seeds, prepare garden beds, plant and then tend their own garden patch, as well as make garden-themed crafts, grow plants to take home, and more. Grades 3 to 5.
