On Eve Of Super Bowl, Patriots Legend Elected To Hall of Fame
Seventeen years after helping the Patriots beat the Rams in the Super Bowl, one of the best defensive players in team history got the call.

On the eve of the Patriots Super Bowl matchup with the Rams, the man who helped the Patriots win their last Super Bowl matchup with the Rams was elected to the Hall of Fame.
Ty Law, one of the greatest cornerbacks of his era, became a member of the 2019 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday night. He was one of eight people to make the cut.
Former Patriots defensive lineman Richard Seymour did not get elected, but will have another chance next year.

Law is the first former Patriots to make the Hall of Fame since Randy Moss last year. Unlike Moss, Law is a franchise stapled who is best known for his time in New England.
Law played from 1995-2009, winning three Super Bowls with the Patriots. He returned a Kurt Warner interception for a touchdown in giving New England a lead in their first Super Bowl victory, a 20-17 win against the Rams.

"It's surreal to get this honor while my former team is playing," Law said.
