Fans Say Thanks to New England Patriots at Super Bowl Parade [Photo Gallery]
More than a million fans lined the streets of Boston to celebrate the Patriots' fifth Super Bowl title.
BOSTON, MA — It didn't matter that it was snowing, then raining for the hundreds of thousands of Patriots fans that attended the Patriots Super Bowl parade Tuesday afternoon. When the duck boats rolled out of the Hynes Convention Center, the fans were as loud and boisterous as they've ever been for a parade, as were the players.
Boston police tabbed attendance at over 1 million, with parts of the parade route appeared more crowded than the 2015 parade that took place days after a major snowstorm.

Following the parade, the team held a rally at Boston City Hall, something that hasn't been done since the 2004 championship celebration.

"I told you we were going to bring this sucker home and we brought it home. Thank you guys. We do it for you, we do it for us," quarterback Tom Brady told the crowd outside of Boston City Hall. "Damn that game was hard, that game was real hard but we’re going to remember this one for the rest of our lives and we know you will to."

Brady and the team had to give everything they had for a late comeback Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Down 28-3, the Patriots scored 25 unanswered points in regulation to force the first overtime game in Super Bowl history. A 2-yard toss to James White on the first drive gave New England their fifth Super Bowl championship. New England now only trails the Pittsburgh Steelers and their six titles for the most Super Bowl wins.
p>During the unexpected rally, several players spoke, along with owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick.
"There’s been a lot of talk the past couple of weeks about GOATs and you all know we have the GOAT when it comes to Tom Brady. We have the GOAT in coaches when it comes to Bill Belichick. But I want you to know my family and organization feel we have the GOAT of fans on the planet," Kraft said.
Belichick, who was not in his usual serious demeanor, said his team came to work every day and took no days off before starting a "no days off" chant in front of a crowd that was likely made of fans who took the day off from work or school.
For all the celebration for the fifth title, fans took a cue from Brady's expression that his favorite championship is the next one, chanting "we want six" towards the end of the rally.
