Feldman Named New Selectmen Chairman
The board also voted for a new vice-chairman and clerk.

FOXBOROUGH, MA - As is typical for the first meeting after the town election, the selectmen voted on leadership positions for the upcoming year
After a year as vice-chair, David Feldman was named the board’s new head. Feldman was nominated by Chris Mitchell and was voted 5-0.
Succeeding Feldman as vice-chair will be Chris Mitchell, who was nominated by Feldman and received a 5-0 vote.

Newcomer Mark Elfman was named the clerk with a unanimous vote after being nominated by Mitchell. Outgoing chairman Jim DeVellis initially nominated Ginny Coppola to be the clerk. Coppola, who served in the position during the 2014-15 year, declined the nomination.
Bearing outstanding circumstances, the leadership will remain in effect for one year.
