Founder's Day 2016: What You Need to Know
Founder's Day is June 11 and starts with the parade at 10 a.m.

Foxborough, MA — The second Saturday in June is here and that means the biggest celebration of everything Foxborough.
The annual Founder's Day celebration is set for this weekend. This year's theme is “Farms and Flowers of Foxborough.”

Like past years, the day will start with the annual parade through the downtown area, around the common, and down to the Booth Playground. An afternoon of fun and games will follow, with fireworks ending the evening.

SCHEDULE
- 7 – 9 a.m. - Booth Field Exhibit Set-up
- 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. - Parade assembles at 132 Central St.
- 10 a.m. - Parade starts at 132 Central St, going through the center of town and ending at the Booth Playground.
- 11 a.m.– 5 p.m. - Activities at Booth Playground, food, games, raffles, crafts, and more
- 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Basketball and In-line Hockey Tournaments
- Noon - Parade Float Winners Announced
- 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Live Music from The Bay State Stompers
- Noon - 1p.m. - Registration for Doll Carriage Parade
- Noon – 1 p.m. - Foxborough Fire Department Car Fire and Jaws of Life Demonstrations
- 1 p.m. - Doll Carriage Parade in the Tennis Courts. In case of inclement weather, parade will be moved indoors to Foxboro Cable Access on Central Street
- 7 – 9 p.m. - Live Music from The Galley Dawgs
- 8:45 – 9 p.m. - Founders Day Raffle Drawings – Winners announced
- 9 – 9:30 p.m. - Fireworks
The Dos and Don’ts of Founders Day
DO!
- Bring Lawn chairs, blankets, and sunscreen
- Drop off Doll Carriage Parade participants close to tennis courts at the Booth Playground (in case of rain, the Doll Carriage Parade will be held indoors at the American Legion Post on Mechanic St)
- ENJOY THE DAY AND HAVE FUN!!!
DON'T!
- Bring your Dog (This includes Leashed)
- Ride bicycles on the Field
- Bring squirt guns or silly string to any Founders Day event
- Park on private property without permission.
- Park in restricted areas (e.g., blocking fire lanes, driveways, fire hydrants or handicapped parking)
- Bring Alcoholic Beverages to Founders Day
PARADE INFO
The parade will begin at 132 Central St. and travel up to the Common, to Mechanic Street, to Railroad Avenue, to Bird Street, back to the Common ,and down South Street to the entrance of the Booth Playground.
