Four More Liquor Licenses Available in Foxborough

Seven more should be approved by the state soon.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Four more liquor licenses are now available in Foxborough.

In an update at Tuesday's selectmen meeting, Town Manager Bill Keegan said the state has approved four licenses for the Route 140 area and Forbes Crossing. He added that the Route 1 licenses have been approved by the state Senate and the center of town licenses will be in front of Governor Charlie Baker within a week.

In May, the Annual Town Meeting approved seven of the licenses, and the Forbes Crossing licenses were approved at the 2015 Special Town Meeting. All of the licenses are all-alcohol and are part of the town's effort to use the licenses to kickstart economic development.
