Foxboro Jaycees to Host New England Patriots Super Bowl Rally

Get ready to see some Patriots pride on the common this week.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Foxborough residents ready to cheer the New England Patriots on to another Super Bowl title are invited to join the Foxboro Jaycees at the center of town this Saturday.

The group announced Tuesday that they will hold a Super Bowl rally Saturday from 1-2 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring a poster or make their own at the common.

"Foxboro is the proud home of the New England Patriots and we want to cheer them and celebrate then and wish them success in the Super Bowl," the announcement from Robert Gillis says.

Paul Feeney will provide the music and organizers are promising touch-a-truck and other surprises.

For those who can't make it, Foxboro Cable Access will be at the scene to tape the entire event.

In addition, the town will be getting into the Super Bowl spirit this week. A Patriots flag will fly on the Foxborough Common flagpole with an American flag and several local volunteers are assisting in decorating the fence around the common.
