From Foxborough Against Diabetes:

On June 3, 2017, at 10 a.m., Foxborough Against Diabetes (FAD) will be holding its final 5K in in memory of Shannon E. Hurley. This year will mark the 17th annual 5K and after much consideration, FAD has decided that this year’s event will be the final race. Over the past 16 years, we have raised $370,300 for diabetes research. We would like to thank our sponsors and supporters who have made this event such a great success.

All proceeds generated from this event will benefit the JDRF (formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in Shannon’s name. With your support and generosity we hope to create awareness in the community of the importance of diabetes research and how important it is to find a cure for this disease.
