Foxborough Awarded Grant From Mass. Gaming Commission
The town will receive a grant for software that will make crime statistics available to a commission consultant.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The town will receive some mitigation funds from the state's gaming commission.
The Mass. Gaming Commission voted 4-0 Thursday to approve Foxborough's request for mitigation funds. The town recently joined the commission's collaborative public safety analysis. The town will receive a $1,180 grant for software that will make crime statistics available to a commission consultant.
Due to Foxborough's proximity to Planridge Park Casino and status as a neighboring town to Plainville, the town is entitled to mitigation funds.
