Foxborough Town Budget Sees Increase
The proposed fiscal year 2016 budget is set to increase by over 5 percent.

If approved, Foxborough residents will pay a little more for the town budget.
Last week, the selectmen voted to support a $66 million budget for fiscal year 2016 according to the Sun Chronicle. The figure is an increase of $3.3 million or 5.27 percent from the fiscal year 2015 budget.
Increases in the budget include estimates for contract settlements and nonunion wage increases according to a memo from Financial Director Randy Scollins.

The selectmen also voted to support a $2.4 million capital budget.
Foxborough residents will have a chance to vote on the budget at the Annual Town Meeting on May 11.
