Foxborough Field Hockey Advance to D2 South Final

FOXBOROUGH, MA — It took some extra time but the Foxborough High School field hockey team will play for a trophy this weekend.

The second-ranked Warriors beat No. 3 Cohasset Tuesday night 2-1 in overtime to advance to the MIAA Division 2 South final. Waiting for them will be No. 13 Falmouth, who beat No. 16 Medway in the semi-finals.

The winner of the match plays the north champion in the state semi-final.

The final is scheduled for Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at Taunton High School.
