2nd Alarm Blaze Heavily Damages Foxborough Home
Firefighters in Foxborough are battling a fire on North Grove Street.

FOXBOROUGH, MA - Firefighters in Foxborough responded to a blaze on North Grove Street Tuesday night.
At about 8:30 p.m. the Foxborough Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire at 78 North Grove Street.

Fire Capt. Ed Noonan told the Sun Chronicle that the fire started in the basement before going up to the attic of the 1 1/2-story cape home. The blaze, which was extinguished around 10 p.m., gutted the home.
The occupants of the house were not home at the time of the fire. The Red Cross is assisting them.

The cause remains under investigation.
