Foxborough Girls Basketball Advances to D2 South Final
The team beat North Attleboro to advance to the final.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Foxborough High School girls basketball team will have a chance to bring home a sectional title this weekend.
The Warriors beat the North Attleboro Red Rocketeers 49-39 in the quarterfinal round of the MIAA Division 2 South tournament. The Warriors advance to the South final against the winner of Walpole vs. Westwood.
The Warriors led their rivals for most of the game, but North Attleboro was able to cut the lead to 3 at halftime and two halfway through the third quarter.

The Warriors would pull ahead later in the quarter and take a 34-28 lead into the fourth quarter.
Ashley Sampson led the Warriors with 20 points.
