Foxborough Girls' Basketball Get Top Seed In D2 South Tournament
The boys' team will enter the postseason as the fourth seed.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — It's tournament time for high school sports in Massachusetts and Foxborough is the once again team to beat entering the MIAA Division 2 South girls basketball tournament.
The Warriors have been awarded the top seed in the Division 2 South tournament and will start postseason play against No. 16 Milton Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m. The winner will play the winner of No. 8 Stoughton vs. No. 9 Dighton-Rehoboth.
In the boys' bracket, the Warriors have been awarded the fourth seed and will host thirteenth-ranked New Mission in the first round March 1 at a time to be announced. The winner moves on to a quarterfinal round game against the winner of No. 5 Hanover vs. No. 12 Bishop Feehan.
