Foxborough Girls Basketball Awarded Top Tournament Seed

FOXBOROUGH, MA — It’s tournament time for high school sports in Massachusetts and Foxborough is the team to beat entering the MIAA Division 2 South girls basketball tournament.

The Warriors have been awarded the top seed in the Division 2 South tournament and will start postseason play on March 2 at 6:30 p.m. against the winner of the Scituate-Pembroke preliminary round showdown. If the Warriors win, they move on to the quarterfinals against the winner of Hingham vs. Oliver Ames.

In the boys’ bracket, the Warriors have been awarded the 10th seed and will travel to seventh-ranked Nauset on March 1 for the first round. The winner moves on to a quarterfinal round game against second-seeded Westwood.
