Foxborough Hiring Town Engineer: How To Apply

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Town of Foxborough is looking for applicants for a town engineer position. The full-time job requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and over seven years of experience.

Pay for the position is between $44.60 to $54.37 hourly. In all, the candidate will be responsible for "professional civil engineering work relating to the design, construction, and maintenance of Town engineering projects, public works construction, as well as the Town's surveying and mapping efforts," the town's website says.

In addition to the education requirement and time of experience, requirements include:

• Four years as a licensed engineer, including some traffic engineering work
• At least four years of supervisory and budgetary experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
• License as a professional civil engineer in the State of Massachusetts
• Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Massachusetts preferred
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
