Car Crash Knocks Out Power in Foxborough Hours Before AFC Championship Game
The good news is that most homes affected by the outage have power again.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Most homes impacted by a power outage once again have electricity.
At 4:16 p.m., 246 homes located in the Oak Street area of town lost power, according to the National Grid outage map. The majority of the homes were located near Mechanic Street.
A car crash involving a pole on Oak Street is being blamed for the outage, according to the Foxborough Fire Department. The driver was transported to Boston Medical Center by Foxborough fire.

As of 6:54 p.m., all but six homes have had their power restored. The remaining homes had their electricity back by 7:20 p.m.
