Police reviewed security footage, which they said showed the suspect trying to open several school doors.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A 51-year-old man from Rumford, Maine will be summoned to Wrentham District Court after police said he vandalized a school-owned van at Foxborough High School.

On Dec. 2, the high school called police reporting the vandalized van. Police reviewed security footage, which they said showed the suspect trying to open several school doors. According to police, the suspect did not get inside the school or vandalize the building and seemed intoxicated.

On Tuesday, police announced they found the suspect, whose name will be kept private until arraignment. Police Lt. Richard Noonan told Patch the suspect was in Foxborough because he was visiting family who live nearby.
