Foxborough Police Donate $2,300 To Town's Food Pantry
Some Foxborough police officers chipped in an extra $100 to keep their beards past "No Shave November."

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Thanks to Foxborough police, families in need around town will get some much needed assistance this holiday season. The Foxborough Police Relief Association donated $2,300 to the town's food pantry, the Foxborough Discretionary Fund.
The money was raised internally, and some of it came from officers who wanted to keep their beards after last month's "Home Base No Shave"event to raise awareness veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress traumatic brain injuries. Any officer that wanted to keep their beard were allowed to if they donated $100 to the town's food pantry.
"We are pleased to find more ways to help our community during the season for giving," Foxborough police said in a statement.
