Sgt. John Chamberlin located Sing near the woods on Fisher Street. During a search of him and a vehicle, police located a gun with nine rounds of ammunition and bottles of Adderall, Tramadol, and ibuprofen. Sing allegedly told police that he had a permit to carry the gun in North Carolina, he didn't have a prescription for the Adderall, and the other two drugs were left in the car by someone else.
Police learned that Sing, a past felon, was not permitted to carry a firearm. He was taken into custody by Chamberlin.
