Foxborough Ranked Among Top 100 MA Suburbs for Easiest Commute

Foxborough is among the top 100 suburbs with the easiest commute in the Bay State, according to a new survey.

Niche, which ranks U.S. communities and colleges, recently released its list of the suburbs with the easiest commute in Massachusetts.” Foxborough was 97.

Part of a release of multiple surveys, the rankings were based on age demographics, school ratings, crime rates, affordable housing, child care, libraries, and grocery stores, among other factors.

Here’s the top 10:

1. Somerville
2. Brookline
3. Amherst
4. Chelsea
5. Malden
6. Medford
7. Wellesley
8. Everett
9. Northampton
10. Ipswich

Here’s how Niche ranked Foxborough’s key attributes:

• Take Public Transportation to Work: 2.68 percent
• Drive Alone to Work: 86.70 percent
• Nearby International Airport: 1
• Bike to Work: 0.40 percent
• Walk to Work: 1.49 percent
• Commute to Work Less Than 20 Minutes: 39.13 percent
