Data from the state says educators in Foxborough are making more than the average Massachusetts teacher.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Public school teachers in Foxborough on average are paid above the average for Massachusetts, according to data from the state.
According to figures from the Department of Early and Secondary Education, the average salary of the 209 full time positions in the Foxborough Public Schools during the 2014-15 school year was $80,964, close to $6,200 more than the statewide average of $74,703.
317 school districts reported data to the state. Benefits such as summers off and pensions, negotiated between individual school districts and unions, were not included in the data.
