Foxborough Selectmen Chairman Challenged by Georgia Mayor to Super Bet
Selectman David Feldman has announced a friendly wager with the mayor of Flowery Branch, Georgia.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Selectmen Chairman David Feldman has a lot riding on the Patriots next week, including the prospect of having to wear the black and red of the Atlanta Falcons.
Feldman announced at last week's selectmen meeting that he has a Super Bowl bet with Flowery Branch, Georgia Mayor Mike Miller. If the Patriots win, the mayor of the home of the Falcons' headquarters and Wrigley's chewing gum factory will have to send Foxborough a case of gum, other local merchandise, and he will wear a Patriots jersey at the first post-Super Bowl public meeting. If Atlanta wins, Feldman will have to wear a Falcons jersey and send Miller a basket of goodies from Patriot Place that includes spring rolls, lobster and clam chowder from Davios Italian Steakhouse; cupcakes from Cupcake Charlie's; coffee from Dunkin' Donuts; and a pair of TB12 Under Armour recover sleepwear.
As of Sunday, the Patriots remain a three-point favorite to win the big game.
