Foxborough Warrior Earns Boston Globe All-Scholastic Honor

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Foxborough Warrior has been named among the best high school athletes in the area.

Ashley Sampson of the girls basketball team was named a member of the Boston Globe All-Scholastic team. The junior led the Warriors to their first sectional championship since 2003. This season, she averaged 19.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. She passed the 1,000-point barrier during the MIAA Division 2 state semi-finals against Arlington Catholic.

Sampson was also named the Hockomock League MVP.
