Gas Drops Below $3 in Parts of Mass.--But Not in Foxborough

Gas prices hit a low of $3.07 in Foxborough this week.

Gas prices this week plummeted to their lowest levels of the year—dropping below $3 a gallon in some parts of Massachusetts.

In Foxborough, prices remained above $3. Here’s a look at the lowest prices in town as of Thursday, according to GasBuddy:

  • Gulf, $3.25
  • Shell, $3.29
  • BP, $3.07
  • Sunoco, $3.19

The average price of gas statewide was $3.26. Prices have been driven down by low demand and abundant supplies, according to the Associated Press.
